For us, this means that state-of-the-art medicine and nursing make up only part of the treatment in our hospital. Respectful interaction, individual support and a personal atmosphere are just as important to us. The "Evangelisches Diakoniekrankenhaus" organisation comprises the Evangelisches Diakoniekrankenhaus Freiburg (a modern, specialised hospital with 175 planned beds and more than 13,500 inpatient cases per year), the Pflegezentrum Landwasser (a gerontopsychiatric care facility with 108 places), the Haus Landwasser (a rehabilitation facility for young people with mental illness with 53 places) and the Freiburger Diakonissenhaus (an assisted living facility with 35 places).

We also offer you modern training to become a registered nurse (Pflegefachfrau / Pflegefachmann). Our focus is on inpatient acute care, i.e. the care of people in an acute hospital – in all departments and wards.
