Cancers of the female reproductive organs require an interdisciplinary treatment strategy. Studies have shown that patients treated in specialised cancer centres have a significant survival advantage.

To guarantee treatment that complies with guidelines yet is still individual, various specialist disciplines work closely together. In addition to gynaecologists, these include:

Every case is discussed in detail at our weekly interdisciplinary tumour board.

Further important pillars of our team are psycho-oncologists (in-house and Praxisgemeinschaft für Psychotherapie und Psychoonkologie), specially trained specialist nurses, physiotherapists and the staff of our social services and discharge management.
