Stoma clinic
Some diseases make it necessary to create an artificial bowel or bladder outlet (stoma). This may be a temporary or a permanent measure.
Having a stoma will change your everyday life and may be a considerable burden for you. In our clinic we therefore want to accompany and advise you as well as possible at every stage.
Even before the stoma is created, we talk with you about what to expect and prepare you for the procedure. Together with the doctor, we carry out the stoma site marking. After the stoma has been created, we support you with professional and trustworthy advice so that you gain confidence in managing your stoma and can be discharged home feeling secure. Even after your hospital stay, we are there to help and advise you if any problems arise.
