Pastoral care
As part of the holistic treatment of body, mind and spirit, pastoral care is a particular focus of our hospital. True to the Christian promise: "When I called, you answered me; you greatly emboldened me" (Psalm 138:3), our full-time chaplaincy would like to search together with you for sources of hope.
We are there for you through:
- visits to your room
- confidential one-to-one conversations in a protected setting
- arranging Catholic pastoral care here in the hospital
- counselling sessions – also with your relatives
- Holy Communion for the sick (Protestant and Catholic) and blessing of the sick
- cooperation within the palliative care service
- cooperation with the hospital's social services and discharge management
- regular prayers and church services
- putting you in touch with the hospice group
- cooperation with parishes and congregations
